Welcome to The Thin Green Line

Corey Jeal, a Victorian Park Ranger currently studying in Ghana, Africa, believes The Thin Green Line Foundation is a worthy cause. So much so, that he’s set to saddle up on his motorbike and embark on an epic journey across Africa, from the edge of the Sahara to Cape Town, South Africa. He is doing this to raise awareness of the Park Ranger situation worldwide, gather and distribute information from and to rangers, and to raise much needed funding for The Thin Green Line Foundation – an organisation dedicated to supporting desperate rangers and their families.

“I think if I can help in any way to assist the rangers and just let them know that there are people out there who really think they are doing a great job, then just maybe it will make their lives a little bit easier.

I want them to see that we appreciate it every time they go out, being underpaid and facing life-threatening risks, to keep protecting and keep saving our rapidly disappearing environment.” Corey Jeal
